Shared sauna and cold plunge environments require thoughtful operation, continuous monitoring, and consistent maintenance to remain clean and comfortable. At Nuvania, we’ve chosen systems and protocols that support that standard, and we enforce their use.
Sauna seating surfaces are protected and laundered daily. Cold plunges are treated using electrolytic chlorination systems with ORP and pH probes, paired with 100% continuous filtration using NSF-50–rated filters. Water quality is continuously monitored.
Rinsing showers are provided between sauna and cold plunge, and guests are required to rinse before entering the water. Full locker rooms with post-session showers are available for comfort and hygiene. We also ask that lotions, oils, or body sprays be rinsed off before entering shared water.
All team members are CPR trained. Our infrared sauna uses carbon-based heating panel technology selected to reduce EMF exposure, with third-party testing confirming undetectable levels in sauna seating areas.
If you’re curious about how we operate or why we’ve made certain choices, our team is always happy to explain the standards and systems we use.
